Every wedding has the moments everyone knows to expect. The first look. The first dance. The cake. These are important and I photograph all of them carefully.
But the images couples come back to years later are often the quiet ones. The ones they did not realise were being taken.

The Rings
Two rings resting in a pair of open hands. His over hers, both of them holding something they are about to exchange and never take back. It is a simple image. It is also everything.
Black and white was the only choice here. Colour would have pulled attention toward the lace, the bracelet, the nail polish. In monochrome, you see only what matters — the weight of the moment, the steadiness of the hands, the rings themselves.
The small details are the ones that carry the most weight.
What I Look For
On a wedding day I am always moving between the two scales — the wide shot that tells the story of the whole room, and the close detail that tells the story of a single second. Neither is more important than the other. Together they build something complete.
If you are planning your wedding in Malta and looking for a photographer who pays attention to both, I would love to hear from you.
